Anhang VI: Gemeinsame Erklärung mit Norwegen zur Zusammenarbeit im Bereich der Finanzdienstleistungen

The Swiss Federal Department of Finance

and

the Norwegian Ministry of Finance,

mindful of the good bilateral relations between the Swiss Confederation and the Kingdom of Norway, willing to intensify cooperation in the area of financial services between the Swiss Confederation and the Kingdom of Norway,

taking due account of the Joint Declaration between the Swiss Confederation and the Kingdom of Norway on cooperation in tax matters signed on this same day,

have reached the following understandings:

Both jurisdictions will strengthen their cooperation in the area of financial services, and will within existing legal frameworks and within the framework of existing trade agreements:

(a) continue to enable the provision of cross-border financial services and endeavor to maintain the level of access existing at the date of signature of this declaration. Both sides agree to take up consultations in case legal developments should impair the existing level of access; (b) enter into a dialogue with a view to further facilitate and improve the provision of financial services between their jurisdictions.
